Client Care Policy
At AWL Home Care, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care while treating every client with dignity, respect, and professionalism. Our goal is to ensure each individual receives personalized care in a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
Scheduling & Appointments
Services are scheduled based on each client’s individualized care plan and caregiver availability.
Clients or authorized family members should provide at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or schedule changes whenever possible.
Emergency situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Care Plan Changes
Care needs may change over time. AWL Home Care reserves the right to modify care plans, schedules, or caregiver assignments to ensure clients continue receiving appropriate services.
Privacy & Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting the privacy of every client.
All personal and medical information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and agency policies. Information is shared only with authorized individuals involved in the client’s care.
Client Rights
Every client has the right to:
Be treated with dignity and respect.
Receive quality, compassionate care.
Participate in decisions regarding their care.
Express concerns without fear of discrimination or retaliation.
Have their privacy and confidentiality protected.
Caregiver Conduct
Our caregivers are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism by:
Treating every client with kindness and respect.
Arriving on time and prepared for scheduled visits.
Maintaining confidentiality.
Providing care within the scope of their training and responsibilities.
Following all agency policies and applicable regulations.
Safety Policy
The safety of our clients and caregivers is our highest priority.
AWL Home Care reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services if conditions are determined to be unsafe for clients or staff.
Payment Policy
Private-pay clients are responsible for payment according to the agreed-upon service agreement.
Payment terms, billing schedules, and accepted payment methods will be provided before services begin.
Non-Discrimination Policy
AWL Home Care provides services without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, age, disability, sex, or any other protected status.
Service Availability
Service availability is subject to caregiver availability, geographic service areas, and clinical appropriateness.
While we strive to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee immediate placement or specific caregiver assignments.
